Scala Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Scala Developer to join our team in the banking sector, working on advanced data processing and aggregation projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Create Scala/Spark jobs for data transformation and aggregation based on complex business requirements
• Write and perform unit tests for Scala code
• Create Pull Requests, trigger builds, and release JAR versions for deployment via Jenkins pipeline
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of raised bugs and resolve them

Ideal candidate profile:

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with Scala
• Strong understanding of the Hadoop ecosystem
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins
• Proficiency in writing HQL
• Experience with Oozie, Shell scripting, and GIT
• Knowledge of Splunk
• Basic understanding of Python is a plus
