Java Developer (Kotlin)

For our client from the insurance and financial services sector – a large organization building and developing business-critical systems used in regulated environments – we are looking for a Java Developer (Kotlin) to join a long-term project.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain business applications based on microservices architecture

• Design, implement, test, and deploy solutions using Java / Kotlin

• Optimize application code and system architecture

• Support system and integration testing activities

• Support application environments and deployments

• Participate in designing architectural solutions

Ideal candidate profile

• 3+ years of commercial experience with Java or Kotlin

• Strong knowledge of Spring / Hibernate, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud

• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases

• Experience working with Git and Maven

• Experience with unit testing frameworks

• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Functional Programming paradigms

• Ability to work from Poland

• Willingness to work in a hybrid model (minimum 1 day per week from the office in Warsaw)

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm

• Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch

• Rate: Depends on experience
