Cloud Engineer

Join us to build a new cloud platform on AWS!

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to help design, develop, and scale a new AWS-based platform supporting next-generation smart devices and mobile applications. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team working on large-scale cloud projects, involving backend, databases, and front-end systems – deployed on AWS.

Key responsibilities:

• Contribute to the architecture, deployment, and scaling of a new AWS-based platform

• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and product stakeholders to build and maintain cloud services

• Define and implement Continuous Delivery and Infrastructure-as-Code practices

• Optimize performance, monitoring, and security of cloud environments

• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD process improvements, and technical design

• Work with various teams to define solutions for complex business problems

Ideal candidate profile:

• 5+ years of experience in a cloud engineering or similar role

• Hands-on experience with AWS services in production environments

• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and scalable cloud infrastructure

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines (Terraform/CloudFormation)

• Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

• Knowledge of databases MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB 

• Programming background in the following technologies will be a strong advantage: JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, C#, Python

Conditions:

• Work model: hybrid in Gdańsk (3 days per week)

• Salary: 150-180 PLN net/h

• Employment type: B2B, UoP is also possible
