Senior Java Developer (Spring Boot) – Contract

We’re looking for a Java Developer (6y+) with solid experience with Spring Boot to support backend systems for a financial services client. The role is fully remote and offered on a 6-month contract.

You’ll be building and maintaining Java microservices and REST APIs, working in an agile team, and using modern development tools — including AI coding assistants such as Cursor or Claude Code — to improve productivity and code quality.

Key Skills

• Java (8+)

• Spring & Spring Boot

• REST APIs and microservices

• Experience using AI coding tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude, Copilot)

• SQL, Git, CI/CD

• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Nice to Have

• Financial services experience

• Docker / Kubernetes

• Kafka or event-driven systems
