Where Do You Fit?

Nestled in our Automation and Control division, you'll be on the wheel, steering product and tech innovations, and overseeing projects for Kongsberg Maritime's state-of-the-art Automation, Bridge Systems, and Electro solutions. Collaborate closely with our Systems Architects, SW developers and Project Managers to guarantee smooth sailing on all projects.

⚓Responsibilities:

• A key resource in defining architecture, design and support realization of SW

• Establish a technical vision together with the Architect team, guiding the software development. This involves you in keeping up with the current technological trends and innovations.

• Contributing to the development the Software Architecture by providing innovative approaches, workflows, and technologies.

• Collaborate with teams of architects, developers, product owners and managers, while sharing and exploiting knowledge in cross-functional and globally distributed multi-disciplinary departments and projects.

⚓Qualifications and experience:

• Experienced SW developer with a strong interest in SW architecture

• Knowledge in use of modeling languages like SysML /UML and SW architecture frameworks

• Good programming skills in one or more languages, preferably C++/C#

• Good Communications and Collaboration skills

• Knowledge of software production methods and technologies

• Interest for Cyber Security
