    About the Role

    Kolomolo is looking for a hands-on, creative, and commercially minded PR & Events Manager to lead our external engagement and live brand experiences. From global tech tradeshows to intimate hackathons, video content to C-level dinners, you will be the person putting Kolomolo’s name where it matters and building conversations that convert into real business.

    This role combines strategic planning, event management, content production, and social amplification to grow our presence, community, and pipeline.

     


    What You’ll Be Doing



    Events & Activations

    • Research, plan, and deliver Kolomolo’s presence at key industry tradeshows, conferences, and meetups.
    • Own logistics: from travels, booth design, AV, branded materials to leading capture strategies.
    • Run hackathons, code sprints, webinars, and executive dinners that put our tech and people in front of the right audiences.
    • Design hands-on demos, live Q&As, and product showcases for both in-person and virtual audiences.


    Content & Thought Leadership

    • Produce compelling whitepapers, case studies, and demo videos (coordinating with designers and agencies).
    • Launch and manage a podcast or video series interviewing Kolomolo engineers, customers, and tech thought-leaders.
    • Secure speaking opportunities, guest articles, and analyst briefings to position Kolomolo at the forefront of event-driven architecture conversations.


    Community & Social Engagement

    • Build and grow our social media presence: before, during, and after events.
    • Launch and moderate an online community (Slack, Discord, or similar) with regular office hours and sneak peeks.
    • Develop an ambassador program to nurture power-users and brand evangelists.


    Lead Generation & Reporting

    • Capture, score, and nurture event leads by coordinating with Sales to ensure seamless handoffs.
    • Track ROI, event performance, and social engagement, adjusting strategies to optimize outcomes.
    • Lead quarterly reviews to align future initiatives with business goals.



    What do you need to have

    • 3 to 5 years in PR, events, or B2B tech marketing.
    • Proven experience running multi-format events: tradeshows, hackathons, webinars, and intimate C-level gatherings.
    • Excellent content skills: from social posts to whitepapers and speaker briefs.
    • Solid project management chops; you can juggle multiple events, vendors, and deadlines.
    • Comfortable with social platforms, CRM tools, and basic design/video tools (Canva, Adobe, or similar).
    • An analytical mindset, measuring what works and what does not.
    • A natural networker who thrives on conversations, relationship-building, and live environments.


    Preferrable

    • SaaS or data infrastructure marketing experience
    • Video content creation background
    • Experience with marketing automation (HubSpot, Marketo)
    • Multilingual abilities
