AI Automation Specialist (e-commerce)

We are seeking an AI Automation Specialist / AI Agent Engineer to design, develop, and deploy intelligent agents to support automation across the entire organization. You’ll be the innovation driver behind intelligent automation - building AI agents that process, analyze, and orchestrate data. If you’re experienced in Data Science, IT, or Machine Learning and ready to go beyond scripts to create smart agents - this role is for you.

As an AI Agent Engineer you're designing agents that:

• Monitor folders, extract data, generate graphics or reports, and trigger actions.

• Integrate with Slack, email, APIs, Notion, or other tools to handle end-to-end workflows.

• Operate independently as AI “mini-teams” supporting business units.

  
  

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design and implement AI-powered agents that automate domain-specific workflows across multiple departments.

• Build agents capable of perception (e.g., reading PDFs, classifying images), reasoning (e.g., decision-making), and action (e.g., triggering emails, updating records).

• Integrate foundation models (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Gemini) with organizational data sources and APIs.

• Collaborate across the organization to identify automation opportunities and translate them into agent blueprints.

• Monitor, evaluate, and iterate on agent performance in production environments.

  
  

Who We're Looking For:

Professional requirements

• Background in Data Science, Software Engineering, Machine Learning, or related technical domains

• Proficient in Python (nice to have: experience in building AI solutions and automation tools)

• Hands-on integration experience: REST APIs, webhooks, cloud services

• Experience working with LLMs, embeddings, vector stores, and fine-tuning techniques

• Fluency in English; German is a plus

• Nice to have: e-commerce experience - e.g. automation of listings, prices, stock levels

Personal requirements

• System design mindset - capable of architecting solutions that are modular, scalable, and observable.

• Excellent communication skills – able to work cross-functionally and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
