Job Title: Technical Writer

Location: Brussels – Hybrid (2 days/week on-site)t

Work Schedule: 2 days per week on-site in Brussels

Overview:

We’re seeking a Technical Writer to create and maintain high-quality documentation for our information systems. This role is ideal for someone who excels at translating complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly content tailored to a variety of audiences.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and support engineers, to ensure accurate and timely documentation aligned with product development and maintenance cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce clear, concise, and high-quality documentation for internal and external stakeholders
• Simplify complex technical concepts into easily digestible content for diverse audiences
• Work closely with software engineers, developers, and project managers to define and scope documentation projects
• Align documentation timelines with product development and maintenance schedules
• Maintain and update content using technical writing tools and collaborative platforms (e.g., wikis)
• Handle requests and feedback according to ITIL best practices, ensuring continuous improvement
• Ensure all documentation is accessible, structured, and follows internal quality standards

Skills & Experience:

• Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
• Proven experience in technical writing, especially for software products
• Ability to grasp complex technical topics quickly and communicate them clearly
• General understanding of HTML and CSS
• Proficiency with MS Office and technical content authoring tools
• Familiarity with wiki and collaborative documentation platforms
• Experience working in international/multicultural teams
• Experience with Paligo is a strong plus
• Prior experience in a health-related sector is an advantage
