SAP ABAP Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom ABAP code for various SAP modules. You will collaborate closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and technical teams to ensure the effective integration and optimization of SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom ABAP reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements for SAP applications.
• Work closely with functional teams to gather requirements and design ABAP solutions that meet business needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal performance of SAP applications.
• Perform system integration testing (SIT) and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for SAP modules.
• Develop technical documentation for ABAP programs and system configurations.
• Enhance and support existing SAP functionalities, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize SAP system processes and improve system functionality.
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, tools, and trends to continuously improve development practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Developer, with a strong understanding of SAP architecture and programming concepts.
• Proficiency in ABAP programming language, including reports, forms (SAPscript, Smart Forms), enhancements, and BADI.
• Experience with SAP modules such as MM, SD, FICO, HR, or others.
• Strong knowledge of data migration tools, such as BAPIs, IDocs, and LSMW.
• Experience with debugging and troubleshooting ABAP programs.
• Familiarity with SAP HANA and Fiori is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA developments.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques in SAP.
• Certification in SAP ABAP or related SAP technologies is a plus.
