QA Automation Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our client . Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for complex workflows using test automation methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and create test data, ensuring thorough testing of applications through backend database queries and API calls.
• Utilize test management tools to create, manage, and execute test cases, maintaining traceability throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Design and implement automated test frameworks for both UI and API testing using tools such as Selenium, REST Assured, and Cucumber.
• Engage with the QA Manager to proactively communicate project statuses, risks, and quality assurance concerns.
• Work effectively with globally distributed teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment on testing objectives and deliverables.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in testing complex workflows with a strong focus on test automation.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and defect lifecycle management.
• Proven experience in test planning, strategy, and execution, including the creation of traceability matrices for comprehensive coverage.
• Proficient in test automation tools such as Selenium, REST Assured, JMeter, Appium, and Cucumber for web and mobile applications.
• Experience with test management tools like JIRA and Test Rail, as well as test design tools like Hexawise.
• Strong programming skills in Java; experience with shell scripting is a plus.
• Proficient in CI tools such as GitLab/GitHub and experienced with cloud platforms such as Azure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
