We are currently hiring an experienced IT Application Support Lead for a key position within a leading global organization based in Warsaw, Poland. This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the Operate team and managing full-spectrum application support (L1, L2, and L3).


As part of this role, you will ensure efficient incident resolution, deliver regular performance reporting, and drive continuous service improvement using ITIL practices. You'll also provide technical oversight, working with Java, J2EE, and Oracle-based systems to ensure operational excellence and system stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Operate application support team, ensuring effective resolution of L1, L2, and L3 incidents.
  • Own end-to-end incident management and escalation processes, with a focus on minimizing service disruption.
  • Deliver regular Weekly and Monthly Status Reports (WSR/MSR) to key business stakeholders.
  • Oversee ITIL process implementation and continual service improvement activities.
  • Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place and maintained.
  • Drive risk management and handle technical and process-related escalations.
  • Provide hands-on technical support and guidance for applications built on Java, J2EE, and Oracle platforms.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience leading IT support or application operations teams.
  • Strong understanding and application of ITIL frameworks and service management practices.
  • Expertise in handling technical escalations and incident/risk management.
  • Practical experience in business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
  • Solid technical background in Java, J2EE, and Oracle environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in stakeholder reporting (WSR/MSR).
