Dutch Translator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Translator to join our documentation team. In this role, you will be responsible for translating complex technical materials from Spanish into English and Dutch, ensuring linguistic accuracy, consistency, and clarity. You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts to fully grasp technical concepts and contribute to the creation of high-quality, user-friendly documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Translate a variety of technical materials from Dutch to English, maintaining clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Work closely with subject matter experts to understand complex technical concepts and terminology.
• Review and edit translated content to ensure it meets quality standards and reads naturally in the target language.
• Maintain and refine translation glossaries, terminology databases, and style guidelines.
• Ensure all documentation follows internal guidelines and complies with industry best practices.
• Collaborate with the technical writing team to develop clear, user-friendly documentation.
• Handle multiple translation tasks simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Dutch and English, with solid comprehension of Spanish.
• Experience in technical translation and/or technical writing.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with translation software and tools is a plus.
