    A leading global financial institution is seeking a skilled Docker and Kubernetes Application Developer to support critical development initiatives on a part-time basis.


    This is an opportunity to work on high-impact applications within a secure, regulated environment, contributing to the modernization and containerization of financial systems. The role requires on-site presence in Kraków for 6 days per month, working closely with engineering, DevOps, and architecture teams.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, build, and deploy scalable applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Support the modernization of legacy systems into microservices-based architecture.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define application functionality and deployment strategies.
    • Ensure performance, stability, and security in containerized environments.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to container orchestration.
    • Maintain development best practices, code quality, and documentation standards.


    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Extensive hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in enterprise environments.
    • Strong understanding of container orchestration, microservices, and networking in Kubernetes.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (excluding Jenkins).
    • Proven ability to work within complex, regulated environments with high security standards.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with Python or other modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Go).
    • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
    • Previous experience in financial services or other regulated industries.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align with global teams.
