ERP Technician

Manage, maintain and improve the ERP (Business Central, Dynamics NAV and MobileNAV) systems. Lead projects to improve these systems, provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues and guide users in the effective use of the system and deliver training when required

Key Responsibilities:

•Provide technical support to end-users of the Business Central, Dynamics NAV and MobileNAV system, troubleshooting issues and guiding them in the effective use of the system.

•User training sessions to familiarize new users with the system's functionalities.

•Collaborate on projects to change the functionality of the ERP as required by business processes.

•Involvement in customising and configuring the Dynamics NAV and MobileNAV system based on the organisations requirements. This includes creating and modifying entities, fields, forms, reports, and workflows within the system.

•Maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures. Additionally, you may generate reports and provide insights on system usage, performance, and user activities.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure smooth integration and alignment of the NAV system with business processes and requirements.

•New projects and process implementation: You will work closely with stakeholders to analyse existing processes and identify areas for improvement or new processes that need to be implemented. This involves gathering requirements, conducting process mapping, and documenting process flows.

•Create and manage licences, user accounts, roles, and permissions within the Dynamics NAV system and MobileNav system. This includes setting up user access levels, defining security policies, and maintaining user profiles.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience

•Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Certificate (MB-800).

•IT /Data analyst related certificate.

•In depth knowledge of all NAV\BC departments functionality.

•Good working knowledge of all NAV setup pages, what functions the business currently has enabled and why.

•Proven excellent IT skills, across all current company systems as well as all Microsoft packages.

•Analytical skills, with good attention to detail.

•Demonstrated experience on delivering insights into system usage, performance and user activities.

•Clear and effective communicator who can also translate the technical nature of systems to the wider team.

•Strong time-management skills and can manage multiple work streams.
