Due to the development of John Deere Polska Business Service Center in Poznan we are currently seeking candidates for the position of SAP ABAP Developer.
Job summary: As a SAP ABAP Developer within our IT Scrum team, you will collaborate with a small, dedicated team to deliver innovative solutions for Finance's General Ledger and Controlling functions. Our work is organized into sprints, ensuring a structured and agile approach to development. The Product Manager provides clear priorities and business objectives, guiding our efforts towards delivering maximum value. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing robust ABAP applications that align with these goals, supporting critical decision-making processes and ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of our financial systems.
You will:
- Perform the development and implementation of technical solutions for Finance.
- Thoroughly test deliverables against acceptance criteria.
- Execute necessary documentation, as directed or needed.
- Provide incident support by resolving tickets in ServiceNow.
- Work closely with the Finance Product Manager to understand business requirements and priorities.
Our Requirements:
- ABAP Programming skills with more than 3 years of experience.
- The ability to understand Java EE concepts and syntax to troubleshoot interfaces to legacy systems (DB2, IBM Mainframe).
- The ability to analyze business requirements and define/document technical solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Very good knowledge of English and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Learning agility and innovation, which involves a desire and openness to engage in continuous technical learning and identifying areas for practical application.
Any of the following, will make your application stand out:
- Knowledge of SAP Central Finance, SAP S4 or SAP BTP or SAP SAC.
- Knowledge of Accounts Payables & Accounts Receivables, Controlling or General Ledger.
- Working experience with SAP Intercompany, ALE, EDI, RFCs, IDOCs, enhancements, scripting, automation, and technical change management tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a related career field.
