Senior Test Automation Engineer

Work model: hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (2/3 days per week from the office)

Project

You’ll work on testing and test automation for financial IT solutions, ensuring high quality and reliable releases. The role focuses on building and maintaining automation frameworks in a CI/CD-driven Agile environment, with ownership of tasks and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Work independently on moderately complex testing tasks within defined areas of expertise

• Test IT solutions in the financial domain

• Take partial ownership of smaller projects and assigned deliverables

• Proactively communicate potential risks and issues, and suggest effective solutions

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment

• Apply CI/CD best practices in day-to-day work

Expected competences and knowledge

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing

• Strong background in test automation

• Advanced programming skills in Python

• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework

• Solid SQL knowledge (mid-level or higher)

• Experience with version control systems (Git)

• Familiarity with data formats such as XML, CSV, JSON

• Knowledge of ISTQB principles (certification is a plus)

• Good understanding of CI/CD concepts

• Experience working in an Agile environment

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of data processing concepts (ETL)

• Experience working with Unix/Linux systems

• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins
