We are seeking an experienced Business IT Analyst with specialized knowledge in LoanIQ to drive automation in corporate lending processes. In this role, you will optimize and streamline corporate loan workflows using LoanIQ, guiding a team of junior analysts and enabling their growth in business and IT analysis practices. LoanIQ is the primary lending platform for managing complex loans, including shipping finance, private equity, syndicated loans, export, and project finance across financial institutions. As part of the technology team, you will play a pivotal role in defining requirements, assessing solutions, and recommending improvements to achieve high-performance, scalable loan operations.

 

Expected competences and knowledge

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with LoanIQ in a business or IT analyst capacity
• In-depth understanding of corporate lending products, workflows, and lifecycle management
• Proven track record in automating loan processes within LoanIQ, including origination, servicing, and closure
• Strong foundation in IT systems integration, loan platform interoperability, SQL, and LoanIQ APIs
• Proficient in requirements gathering, gap analysis, and process modeling
• Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with a proven ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities to deliver efficient solutions to complex issues

 

Responsibilities you'll have

• Lead the analysis and automation of corporate lending processes with LoanIQ
• Customize and configure LoanIQ to align with business requirements and integrate it with other financial systems
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to LoanIQ and ensure ongoing application support
• Work directly with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for loan automation
• Analyze current loan workflows, identify inefficiencies, and suggest process enhancements through LoanIQ
• Conduct detailed gap analysis on loan origination, servicing, and closure processes to identify areas for improvement
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and oversee the LoanIQ configuration process
• Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and project managers to align LoanIQ automation initiatives with broader business objectives
• Communicate project updates, challenges, and solutions clearly to senior management and other stakeholders
