Observability Engineer

Salary: 1000-1200 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / (2/3 days per week from the office)

Project

You will be involved in a financial project focused on observability solutions. You'll join a small Telemetry team responsible for developing and maintaining data flows and creating Grafana and Power BI dashboards to monitor applications and infrastructure and support faster issue resolution.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Participate actively in the team's planning sessions.

• Suggest improvements and bring new ideas.

• Collaborate with various stakeholders.

• Co-operate with other technical experts.

• Participate in implementation work.

• Troubleshoot technical issues within your area of responsibility.

   

Expected competences and knowledge

• Understanding of observability fundamentals (metrics, logs, traces).

• Experience with Grafana and Grafana Alerting.

• Experience configuring data sources (e.g. Prometheus, InfluxDB, AppDynamics).

• Knowledge of dashboard design and data visualization best practices.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code / Provisioning as Code.

• Good knowledge of Git/Bitbucket.

• Proficiency in JSON.

• Scripting skills (Bash and/or Python).

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Application development or engineering background.

• Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.

• Fluent English.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Splunk.

• Hands-on experience with AppDynamics.

• Hands-on experience with Power BI.

• Experience working in international Agile teams.
