Project
You will be involved in a financial project focused on the implementation and operationalization of DORA requirements within a banking environment.
The project covers assessing regulatory compliance, performing gap analyses against DORA and relevant RTS, and supporting the strengthening of operational resilience, including business continuity, crisis management, and IT service continuity practices. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across business, IT, risk, and compliance, independently leading workshops and contributing expert input to ensure regulatory adherence and resilience maturity across the organization.
Responsibilities you'll have
Lead and support DORA-related initiatives, including analysis and implementation of requirements from the main regulation and relevant Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS)
Perform regulatory gap assessments, evaluate current practices, and assess adherence to DORA and related regulatory requirements
Design and support improvements in operational resilience, including business continuity, crisis management, and IT service continuity management frameworks
Independently plan, lead, and facilitate workshops with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across different seniority levels
Collaborate with business, IT, risk, compliance, and continuity teams within a financial or banking environment
Provide expert input, recommendations, and documentation supporting regulatory compliance and resilience maturity
Expected competences and knowledge
Strong subject-matter expertise in DORA, including practical understanding of the main regulation and RTS with actionable requirements for financial entities
Proven experience in operational resilience, including business continuity management, crisis management, and IT service continuity
Hands-on experience in the banking or financial services sector, either within financial institutions or on related regulatory projects
Demonstrated experience conducting regulatory gap assessments and evaluating compliance with regulatory frameworks
Ability to work independently, take ownership, and coordinate complex activities across multiple stakeholders
Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, especially in workshop-driven environments
