Automation Tester

Salary: 900 - 1100 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

Join a team working on complex internal systems to support daily operations in a financial, stock market related environment. Client operates regulated exchanges in Belgium, France, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, and Portugal. The mission involves implementing automated tests focused on Technical aspects such as Performance, Capacity, and High Availability.The ideal candidate should have a mindset oriented towards automated test design and aim to streamline and automate the testing workflow as much as possible.You will be responsible for ensuring comprehensive test plan coverage from a technical standpoint, as well as executing, monitoring, and reporting on tests that address a range of Non-Functional Requirements.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Ensuring all testing activities are conducted efficiently and documented according to the latest internal Testing Standards
• Continuous Automation of newly created Test Cases
• Keeping automation test code repository in good shape and aligned with good practices/standards
• Taking care of Daily Test Automation Runs (both running & results review)
• Updating list of Automated Test Cases (repo and test management tool)
• Provide continuous fixes and required code changes
• Planning & Executing regression tests for each release
• Supporting team by early discover and sharing information about defects & issues
• Defects reporting (including handling and verifying)
• Identifying more scenarios to be automated or extending existing
• Working actively with the whole team to secure high quality of the delivery

Expected competences and knowledge

• 5+ years of professional experience in test automation
• 5+ years of manual and Automation Testing of modern UI (Web) in Selenium
• 5+ years of solid Java programming experience
• 3+ years of API Automation Testing with using REST Api, SOAP
• Experience in maintaining remote repositories using Git
• Strong understanding of modern testing standards, test design, and execution
• Proven experience maintaining code in Bitbucket and integrating with Jenkins CI pipelines for automated daily runs
• Practical experience working with Jira and Confluence in development environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a quality-focused tester mindset
• Highly proactive, self-motivated and adaptable, with a strong willingness to learn new tools and processes

• Playwright experience in UI (Web) Test Automation
