Project

Join a project within the Open Banking domain focused on delivering secure and high-quality RESTful APIs for PSD2 compliance and premium banking services. Working in an Agile environment, you will collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure product quality through API testing, test automation, and continuous quality improvements using Python and Robot Framework.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for RESTful APIs and backend services

• Create, execute, and optimize automated test cases using Python and Robot Framework

• Perform manual and automated testing activities to ensure product quality and reliability

• Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes

• Contribute to test planning, test strategy, and continuous improvement of QA processes and practices

• Analyze test results, prepare clear reports, and communicate findings effectively to the team

• Support quality assurance initiatives throughout the entire software development lifecycle

Expected competences and knowledge

• Proven experience in RESTful API testing, including relevant tools, methodologies, and best practices

• Strong programming skills in Python with experience in test automation development

• Hands-on expertise in Robot Framework

• Practical knowledge of modern DevOps tools and environments, including Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes (K8s)

• Understanding of software testing principles, QA methodologies, and both manual and automated testing processes

• ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent hands-on testing experience

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken

• Basic understanding of Java and the ability to work with Java-based code when needed
