Analytics Engineer
IVER is a leading Nordic IT and cloud transformation partner, delivering secure and innovative solutions in operations, cybersecurity, and cloud services.
We are building an open-source analytics platform on top of a strong on-prem infrastructure operated by experienced platform engineers, giving you the chance to work with real systems, data, and at scale.
We are currently running on Power BI, but we’ve outgrown the "black box." We are moving to a high-performance, open-source stack built on tool like Apache Superset, Trino and dbt. We need a builder who can help us deconstruct our current environment and lead the migration to a transparent, scalable, and code-driven analytics platform. This role is based in our Gdańsk office.
SALARY:
11 600 – 19 500 PLN gross/month Permanent
80 - 120 net/hour B2B
14 000 – 19 500 PLN net/month B2B
KEY FACTS:
Transforming raw data into trusted analytical models and shared business metrics.
Building ELT pipelines (SQL/Python), layered data models, and applying engineering practices to data workflows.
Collaborating with platform teams and business stakeholders to turn business logic into governed data models.

WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
Strong SQL skills on data ingesting and manipulation
ELT pipelines and multi-source integration (incl. CDC)
Modern analytics tools (dbt, Spark, Trino, Airflow, Superset or others)
Automation, configuration-as-code experience and mindset
Strong English skills & hybrid work hygiene
Being open-minded and ready to share results of your work with the world is a must
APPRECIATED OPTIONAL:
Programming skills (Python probably, but others are welcome too)
Layered data modelling and business metrics
BI platform migration experience
Data governance and metadata Knowledge
YOUR TASKS WILL INCLUDE:
Create a greenfield analytics module for internal and customer BI
Build and maintain ELT pipelines and transformations
Define metrics and maintain semantic layer
Optimise queries and workloads
Prepare & maintain core datasets for analysis and automation
