Senior UX Designer (Enterprise Design Systems)
We are looking for a highly hands-on Senior UX Designer to join Enterprise UI/UX Governance team. This is not a standard product design role. You will sit at the federation layer, architecting and delivering Version 2.0 of the firm's internal enterprise design system, which powers over 100 internal financial applications and dashboards used by 800+ developers globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect, design, and maintain highly scalable Figma assets, master components, and reusable UI resources for the internal marketplace.
Collaborate closely with an 11-person governance team (including Senior UI Engineers) to standardize and elevate UX across complex financial data-heavy dashboards (macro, equities, commodities, FX).
Drive the transition of the core design philosophy to support next-generation, AI-driven/agentic developer workflows.
Conduct internal reviews, gather feedback from developer communities, and provide SME (Subject Matter Expert) guidance to internal application teams.
IMPORTANT!
Due to strict financial regulatory requirements, the selected candidate must successfully pass:
Standard background and criminal checks.
Trading Portfolio Disclosure: Candidates must disclose their personal stock trading portfolios to the Compliance Department to prevent conflicts of interest.
Requirements
Senior-level experience (5+ years) in UX/UI Design, with a proven track record of building and maintaining large-scale enterprise design systems.
In-depth, expert knowledge of Figma (advanced auto-layout, design tokens, component variants, and library publishing).
Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn highly complex, data-dense financial workflows into intuitive, clean interfaces.
Outstanding communication and consultative skills. You must be comfortable mentoring internal teams, handling pushback, and confidently answering tricky UX governance questions.
Professional fluency in English.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience working within Financial Services, FinTech, or Hedge Funds (understanding trading layouts, complex data visualization, and grids).
Familiarity with front-end technologies (Tailwind CSS, Shadcn/MUI logic) to ensure seamless handoffs to developers.
