As a Java Developer you will be responsible for the planning and development of back-end and front-end applications. You will interact with staff to understand business requirements and make sure that the applications you work on meet them.
- Your contribution to something big: Active involvement in the planning, development and testing phases of the company’s software applications.
- Contributing to the team with Java expertise and engineering experience
- Collaborating with the already existing agile scrum team to design and implement full stack technical solutions
- Identifying, testing & implementing the latest and most appropriate technologies for the task at hand
- Implementing industry standard best practices such as automated testing, continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated deployments, and infrastructure as code
- Supporting the success and development of others in the team
- Carrying out other ad hoc duties as required
Our ideal teammate will have experience with/knowledge in: Java (MVC / MVMM / Architecture / Frameworks)
- Spring boot
- Apache Kafka, event-driven programming
- RESTful APIs, gRPC, containerized microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL & noSQL databases, CI/CD
- SQL, PL/SQL
- Tomcat
- Linux, Unix experience
- Git
- Agile / pair programming
- SaaS / multi-tenant architecture (incl. database sharing)
