We are looking for a talented Test Engineer to join a distributed development team. The customer is a large Nordic bank that is part of one of Europe’s biggest financial groups, offering a wide range of financial services.
In this role, you will be part of a multi-national Scrum team that maintains and develops a dealer portal for auto manufacturers. You will work closely with your team, the product owner, business stakeholders and other teams. Gaining key business knowledge and setting up automated testing are a key focus for this position. In addition, you will be able to dedicate some time either to manual QA – the ideal split is 40% Manual and 60% Test Automation.
Daily communication with colleagues as well as with business users and occasional business trips will be an essential part of the working process.
Team:
There are 6 team members right now.
For testing the team does Manual QA for now.
The team is distributed with team members from Denmark, Slovakia, and Poland.
The team is working according to scrum methodology.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Participate in product testing and release control.
Be part of UAT.
Gain proficient product knowledge.
Plan and execute test activities.
Create Test Automation framework and tests.
Report found defects with appropriate level of requirements.
Maintain contact with relevant stakeholders.
Professional requirements:
MUST:
Experience as Test Engineer 3+ years
Proven experience in Test Automation 3+ years
Familiarity with test design techniques
Experience with TypeScript
Test Management
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English
Experience in UAT and technical test sessions with external customers
Manual Testing (including UAT sessions)
Test Automation (Playwright)
Maintain and execute existing, writing new UI and API TA scrip
Be a plus/Nice to have:
Experience in the finance domain, particularly with banking systems or similar
Experience with Elastic search using Kibana or a similar tool
WCAG testing experience
Knowledge of working with databases
Experience in REST API testing and associated best practices (e.g. Postman/Bruno Api)
Familiarity with CI/CD
Knowledge of Azure DevOps or GitHub cloud-based platforms
