    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team at Itera. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our client base in the digital consulting industry. You will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and closing deals. Additionally, you will be involved in developing and coordinating targeted sales campaigns and participating in conferences and networking events. 


    This role will play a key part in driving our continued success in delivering nearshore and distributed services to the market. 

    You will be reporting to the Head of Sales Central and Eastern Europe and fully integrated member of our International sales team. 


    Responsibilities: 

    • You will have your personal sales quota, contributing to the revenue of the Central European Business Unit 
    • Develop and operationalize effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives. 
    • Budget the sales activities based on the selected strategies 
    • Identify and target potential clients of digital consulting services.  
    • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders. 
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor analysis, and customer needs. 
    • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions for client needs. 
    • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations to potential clients. 
    • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet sales targets. 
    • Develop and coordinate targeted sales campaigns to generate leads and convert them into opportunities. 
    • Participate in conferences, trade shows, networking events, and industry forums to build connections and promote our services. 


    Requirements: 

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Engineering fields (MBA preferred). 
    • Proven track record of success in business development or sales roles within the digital consulting industry. 
    • Strong knowledge of digital technologies, trends, and best practices. 
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
    • Build strong relationships internally and externally (clients) and develop them over time 
    • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively. 
    • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset. 
    • Strong collaborative skills, and ability to work in teams 
    • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 


    Advantageous Experiences: 

    In addition to the requirements mentioned above, the following experiences would be advantageous: 


    1. Social skills

    2. Financial or Energy Industry Background: Experience or knowledge of working within the financial or energy industries would be beneficial in understanding client needs within these sectors. 

    3. Language Skills: Proficiency in German, Danish, Norwegian or Swedish languages would be advantageous as it allows for better communication with international clients. English is our corporate language.

    4. Previous Experience in Selling Nearshore IT Services: Having prior experience in selling nearshore IT services would give you an edge in understanding client requirements related to outsourcing IT projects. 

    5. Successful Opportunity Closure Track Record: A proven track record of closing opportunities demonstrates your ability to effectively navigate the sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
