QA Automation Engineer (JavaScript, Cypress)

✅ Your responsibilities:

• Ensure product quality throughout the entire development lifecycle, from planning to release.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for API and frontend features.
• Collaborate with the QA team to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in manual testing when needed during feature development.
• Advocate for testing best practices and a quality-first mindset within the team.
• Actively participate in team meetings, providing clear and concise updates on progress and technical topics.
• Work independently and troubleshoot issues effectively, ensuring smooth implementation of test automation.

🧠 Our requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in testing web applications and writing automated tests.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress, Postman, and New Relic.
• Strong understanding of Node.js-based web applications and databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB).
• Basic knowledge of software architecture and testing methodologies.
• Experience working with AWS logging and debugging tools.
• Understanding of web security concepts, including OWASP best practices.
• Familiarity with networking principles related to web-based services (CORS, browser interactions).
• Experience working in an agile environment, writing bug reports, and participating in sprint ceremonies.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
