Windows/Linux Administrator

Lodz-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office per month).

As a Windows/Linux System Administrator, you will be working for our client, a large-scale organization operating within the online banking sector. Your contributions will ensure continuous, secure, and highly available digital financial services. Your main responsibilities:

• Maintain and update Windows Server and Linux RedHat environments to ensure optimal performance

• Monitor server performance, availability, and security, addressing issues proactively

• Configure and maintain server applications such as IBM MQ and build tools

• Administer and optimize SQL databases and instances for stability and efficiency

• Install, configure, and oversee CI/CD agents supporting software delivery pipelines

• Support and improve CI/CD tools like TeamCity, Octopus, and Bitbucket

• Manage access rights across servers, databases, and CI/CD platforms, ensuring security standards are met

• Automate administrative and deployment tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and configuration management tools like Ansible

• Develop and maintain Ansible-based deployment automation

• Create and update technical documentation in knowledge-sharing platforms

  
  

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience administering Windows Server and Linux systems

• Hands-on knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, or Python

• Practical experience creating and maintaining Ansible playbooks

• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Octopus, and Bitbucket

• Ability to administer and monitor SQL databases

• Understanding of software development and deployment processes

• Strong focus on security standards and system stability

• Experience supporting development teams in operational tasks

• Familiarity with documentation practices in technical environments

• Previous experience in a corporate or regulated environment
