As a WAF Security DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial services leader accelerating its cloud and automation journey. In this role, you will help build, optimize, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines, develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions, and integrate APIs across enterprise platforms. You'll collaborate with global teams to drive seamless deployments and enable faster, more secure software delivery. This position emphasizes ownership, innovation, and automation to support modern development workflows and ensure continuous improvement of infrastructure and deployment processes.

Your main responsibilities:

1. Creating and customizing CI/CD pipelines to meet specific project needs
2. Maintaining and optimizing existing pipelines for performance and security
3. Writing scripts to automate deployment and infrastructure management tasks
4. Developing and managing Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform
5. Integrating API platforms into CI/CD workflows
6. Collaborating with software, operations, and QA teams to improve processes
7. Incorporating tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and Python into daily workflows
8. Researching solutions independently and reaching out to relevant stakeholders
9. Monitoring pipeline performance and identifying improvement opportunities
10. Documenting processes and ensuring alignment with DevSecOps standards

You're ideal for this role if you have:

1. Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
2. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
3. Expertise in managing infrastructure using Terraform or similar IaC tools
4. Solid understanding of version control systems like Git
5. Knowledge of API integration and execution within deployment processes
6. Experience with JSON, YAML, or similar structured data formats
7. Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes environments
8. Effective communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams
9. Ability to work independently, proactively solving challenges
10. Experience in DevSecOps or implementing secure automation practices

It is a strong plus if you have:

1. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
2. Exposure to API gateways like Kong, Apigee, or AWS API Gateway
3. Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
4. Background in Agile or Scrum-based delivery models
5. Understanding of networking and basic cybersecurity fundamentals
