Krakow-based opportunity with a hybrid model of work (2 days from the office, 3 days remotely per week)

As a UI Developer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution dedicated to delivering cutting-edge digital solutions for business services. You will be part of the Business Services Digital team, focusing on designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that enhance user experiences. You will be working on front-end technologies, ensuring high-quality, responsive, and accessible interfaces. This role involves collaborating with UX designers, backend developers, and project managers to build scalable and secure applications, following industry best practices and modern development methodologies.

Your main responsibilities:

• Designing and developing responsive web applications with modern UI frameworks
• Implementing pixel-perfect user interfaces based on design specifications
• Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code using React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Ensuring cross-browser compatibility and adherence to accessibility standards
• Managing and coordinating software releases through production environments
• Conducting front-end testing using frameworks like Jest and Testing Library React
• Collaborating with UX designers, backend developers, and project managers to align with business goals
• Following coding best practices and security guidelines to ensure compliance with corporate policies
• Mentoring junior developers and sharing best practices across the team
• Continuously improving front-end development workflows and implementing productivity initiatives

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience in developing and delivering web applications
• Strong knowledge of React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and preprocessors like SASS or LESS
• Experience in designing responsive user interfaces for desktop and mobile applications
• Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks such as Jest and Testing Library React
• Knowledge of JSON and XML for data marshalling and de-marshalling
• Understanding of accessibility standards and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience working with version control systems like Git
• Ability to work in agile development teams and follow best coding practices
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with Node.js and Express.js
• Knowledge of responsive web design techniques
• Exposure to designing digital products in banking or financial services
• Familiarity with IntelliJ, VS Code, and other modern development tools
