As a Test Manager / Test Strategist, you will be working for our client, a leading financial services company undergoing a major IT transformation focused on modernizing communication systems. This project aims to shift from a bespoke communication approach to a streamlined, group-wide model, enhancing efficiency, performance, and security. You will be at the forefront of this initiative, leading the planning, execution, and management of end-to-end testing activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and fostering collaboration across various teams.
Your main responsibilities:
- Designing the overall testing and release strategy using a Risk-Based Approach, aligning with SDLC processes and controls
- Managing planning, dependencies, budget estimation, and follow-up of testing activities, including test environment management
- Leading and supervising the timely execution of testing activities, coordinating efforts across squads
- Addressing test impediments in collaboration with Squads, Scrum Masters, EDOs, and other stakeholders
- Engaging with partners across the organization to ensure alignment and effective communication
- Producing, contributing to, or reviewing test progress reports and building consensus around Test Summary Report conclusions
- Providing support or coaching to testers and promoting continuous improvement of test practices
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Willingness to work on the basis of Employment Contract (B2B Contract is not available for this position)
- Demonstrated experience in elaborating and managing testing activities for complex projects
- Strong leadership skills adaptable to diverse stakeholders and scenarios
- Superb communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information quickly
- Experience within the Financial/Banking sector, ideally with familiarity in Agile methodologies
- Proficiency in task delegation and control in a multi-location environment
- Self-driven work ethic with the ability to manage workload independently
- Disciplined, accurate, and possess strong organizational skills
- Effective negotiation, conflict management, and influencing skills
- Fluent English
- The ability to handle conflicting priorities in a dynamic environment
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with communication assets and related technologies
- Knowledge of TFS & ServiceNow tools
- Familiarity with communication protocols
