Technical Migration Leader

Drive Complex Migrations That Power Global Financial Systems

As a Technical Migration Leader, you will work for our client, a global leader in financial services technology, undergoing a major data center migration initiative. This complex program involves the transformation and relocation of critical payment applications, spanning both in-house-developed systems and third-party solutions. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in complex environments, is deeply technical, and can drive migration strategies with precision and clarity.

Your main responsibilities: Lead technical discovery and documentation of current-state architectures

• Define migration strategies and design future-state solutions
• Collaborate with architects and SMEs to plan and execute application transformations
• Coordinate environment builds across development, testing, and production stages
• Oversee integration of supporting services including middleware, schedulers, and file replication
• Ensure all security, firewall, and load balancing requirements are addressed
• Supervise adaptation and testing of application code and configurations
• Drive certification and accreditation processes for internal and external standards
• Manage live migrations of services and ensure minimal operational disruption
• Support decommissioning of legacy environments and systems

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience leading application migration or data center transformation projects
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure and application architecture
• Practical experience with cloud technologies, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines (AWS or Azure)
• Solid knowledge of middleware, databases, and system integration tools
• Familiarity with online transactions and batch processing systems
• Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse technical teams and stakeholders
• Experience documenting solutions using tools like Confluence and diagramming standards
• Understanding of resilience, performance, and security in critical financial systems
• Proactive, self-driven attitude with a focus on delivery and problem-solving
• Excellent communication skills in both Polish and English
