Technical Business Analyst with GCP skills – Data Team

As a Data Solutions Business Analyst – Data Analytics & Cloud Integration, you will be working for our client, an international leader in innovative data management and analytics. You will lead initiatives to enhance data ingestion, data quality, and integration with platforms like Google Cloud and Hadoop, enabling smarter business decisions and driving digital transformation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape data-driven strategies in a dynamic environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Elicit requirements using interviews, workshops, and process analysis to translate complex business needs into effective data solutions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with strategic goals.

• Work closely with data engineers, project teams, and business users to ensure clear communication, documentation, and successful project execution.

• Analyze, manipulate, and document data, creating technical specifications and data dictionaries for seamless implementation.

• Support project delivery with testing, organizational tasks, and requirement traceability, ensuring high quality standards.

• Use Agile methodologies to foster collaborative and flexible project execution across cross-functional teams.

• Maintain data governance standards, ensuring data definitions, lineage, and quality controls are integrated into project solutions.

• Produce comprehensive documentation including business requirements, source-to-target mappings, process flows, and user guides.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analytics, or Data Platform roles.

• Strong understanding of ESG data and the data lifecycle in general.

• Proven experience delivering technically focused analysis for change initiatives involving multiple organizations.

• Solid knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud, Hadoop, or related big data tools.

• Hands-on experience with data integration solutions and third-party data sources.

• Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience working within Agile delivery teams.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications related to Data Analytics, Cloud Technologies, or Agile methodologies.

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
