As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution undertaking a large-scale technology transformation project aimed at enhancing DevOps practices, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and improving application monitoring and deployment. You will be playing a key role in bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that solutions are aligned with both strategic objectives and operational requirements. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Your main responsibilities:
Gathering, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements from stakeholders
Collaborating with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to streamline CI/CD processes
Analysing process flows and identifying opportunities for automation and optimization within a DevOps context
Supporting the integration of tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Nexus, and Jenkins into delivery pipelines
Facilitating workshops and discussions to align project objectives with delivery capabilities
Maintaining clear communication across teams to ensure transparency and progress tracking
Monitoring system performance and assisting in incident root cause analysis
Preparing and maintaining comprehensive documentation on project requirements, changes, and outcomes
Assisting in the design and implementation of IT controls and best practices across systems
Reporting progress and issues to senior stakeholders, ensuring timely resolutions
You're ideal for this role if you have:
5+ years’ experience in software delivery within banking, finance, or fintech sectors
Strong experience working in DevOps environments with tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines
Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and Nexus/Sonatype
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a focus on root cause analysis
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management
Proven ability to work independently with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
Solid understanding of IT controls, governance, and best practices
Experience documenting, mapping, and analysing business processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Familiarity with database concepts and data analysis
It is a strong plus if you have:
Experience with large matrix organizations and cross-functional project delivery
Exposure to monitoring and logging tools for performance management
Previous experience with M&A, system integrations, or divestiture projects
Ability to speak or read in additional languages
