As a System Analyst, you will work for our client, a global leader in cutting-edge payment solutions and financial services. You will collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and product teams to identify areas of improvement, optimize system performance, and design scalable, efficient solutions. In this role, you will be a key player in designing and implementing advanced payment systems, ensuring they meet both business and customer needs. Leveraging your expertise, you will analyze, define, and optimize system requirements, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Your main responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications for payment systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and designers, to design, implement, and optimize digital payment solutions
- Identify system improvements and support the continuous enhancement of existing solutions
- Create detailed system documentation, ensuring clear communication of requirements and system architecture
- Participate in the testing and quality assurance process, ensuring the functionality and security of payment systems
- Contribute to the development of integration strategies for external systems and APIs
- Support stakeholders by providing clear and actionable insights on system performance, troubleshooting, and optimizations
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 4 years of experience as a System Analyst or in a related role, ideally in the payments or financial services industry
- Strong understanding of payment systems, including card payments, digital wallets, and payment processing
- Proven experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements, and translating them into functional specifications
- Hands-on experience in systems analysis, design, and integration in Agile environments
- Knowledge of system analysis techniques and requirements documentation
- Practical experience with UML and BPMN notations
- Ability to model business processes and requirements (use cases, data models, state diagrams, etc.)
- Solid knowledge of database design, system integration, and API development
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively
- Fluent English
It’s nice if you have:
- Familiarity with international payment schemes and regulations
- Experience with Open Banking or blockchain-based solutions
- Knowledge of emerging trends in digital payments, such as mobile payments or cryptocurrencies
