As a Solution Architect, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services, spearheading the design and implementation of innovative technology solutions. This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and high-performing systems while aligning IT strategies with business goals. You will collaborate across teams to define technical roadmaps, ensure seamless system integrations, and maintain high-quality architecture standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating transformative solutions for critical business applications.

Your main responsibilities:

• Establishing a strategic technology roadmap aligned with business development plans
• Providing IT solutions that adhere to enterprise strategies and standards
• Managing relationships with stakeholders across business, IT, and external partners
• Leading, supporting, and developing a team of solution architects
• Designing complex distributed and microservices-based systems for scalability and extensibility
• Collaborating on integrations between systems, ensuring consensus on technologies
• Creating proof-of-concept implementations to validate solution feasibility and performance
• Overseeing application security, including authentication and authorization standards
• Keeping abreast of technology trends to inform innovative architecture decisions
• Participating in Agile and DevOps workflows to ensure efficient delivery

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 7+ years of software development experience for back-end applications
• Strong proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and coding for problem-solving
• Expertise in Java, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot
• Familiarity with API design and tools such as Swagger UI
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based technologies
• Proven ability to explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience in designing integrations across systems with a focus on scalability
• Knowledge of security protocols, including authentication and authorization practices
• Strong skills in strategic planning for IT application and technology roadmaps
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilitie

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Familiarity with Redis, Kafka, Oracle, and MongoDB
• Experience in financial industry IT architecture
• Knowledge of fintech and emerging technology trends
• Experience in developing and supporting mission-critical business applications
