As a Solution Architect – Cloud and Data Transformation, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution committed to large-scale digital and data transformation. Your expertise will drive the design of robust, scalable, and future-proof solutions that modernize technology landscapes, unify architectural standards, and enable seamless integration across distributed platforms. Your main responsibilities:

• Designing end-to-end solution architectures across cloud and on-premise environments

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet business needs

• Applying abstraction techniques to define scalable architectural patterns

• Leading architectural discussions and securing approvals from diverse stakeholders

• Integrating systems using REST APIs, microservices, and streaming technologies

• Evaluating database and data warehousing solutions to support strategic initiatives

• Challenging technical decisions through structured analysis and peer reviews

• Troubleshooting complex technical issues with innovative strategies

• Assessing current technology landscapes for continuous improvement

• Communicating architectural designs clearly through documentation and presentations

  
  

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years’ experience as a Solution Architect in a large, complex organization

• Strong ability to abstract architectural patterns from technical solutions

• Demonstrated leadership and effective communication skills

• Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka or Flink

• Knowledge of application integration patterns including REST APIs and microservices

• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL database technologies

• Experience with cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, or AWS

• Understanding of data warehousing, ETL, or data integration processes

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proven ability to resolve complex technical issues

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience with big data platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, or Databricks

• Operating system and scripting skills (Linux, Bash, PowerShell)

• Understanding of master data management principles

• Familiarity with Python, Scala, or related data processing libraries

• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
