Senior Software Engineer (Data Platforms)

Join as a Senior Software Engineer and build next-generation data platforms!

As a Senior Software Engineer (Data Platforms) you will be working for our client, a leading Swiss financial market infrastructure provider that delivers stock exchange, financial information, and payment services, while also developing a pioneering digital stock exchange. You will join their Data Science Platform & Reporting team in the central IT department, focusing on designing, developing, and operating robust cloud-based platform services.

Location: hybrid model (3 days per week in the office - Warsaw)

Rate: B2B: 23 100 – 27 300 netto+vat PLN /month

Your main responsibilities:

• Maintaining and enhancing existing Java applications (including ETL components) and migrating legacy solutions to the new environment.

• Designing and implementing scalable services and APIs for the central data platform.

• Building and optimizing data processing pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.

• Refactoring and modernizing key application modules (including those responsible for data entry).

• System stabilization, process automation, and basic DevOps tasks (Docker, CI/CD, monitoring).

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong knowledge of Java and experience with data processing systems.

• Basic knowledge of SQL, cloud environments (Azure), and Linux systems.

• Practical experience with DevOps and containerization.

• Proficient English and ability to work effectively in an international team.

• Python knowledge is a nice2have.
