As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading fintech and SaaS company operating a cutting-edge AI interviewing platform that revolutionizes investment research. Your expertise will ensure the reliability, accuracy, and compliance of high-stakes products, directly impacting global investment decision-making and client satisfaction.
Your main responsibilities:
- Build and maintain automated test suites using Selenium and/or Playwright to ensure product robustness
- Write reliable code snippets in Python or JavaScript to reproduce and investigate bugs
- Design test cases reflecting real business workflows and user journeys to capture true user experience
- Triage and prioritize defects based on business impact, collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Work closely with developers and product managers to define clear acceptance criteria
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated testing for seamless deployment
- Document test coverage, known issues, and regression results to maintain high quality standards
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 6 years of experience in test automation within dynamic environments
- Strong proficiency with Selenium and/or Playwright frameworks
- Ability to write clean, effective code snippets in Python or JavaScript
- A business-minded approach to QA, focusing on end-user and business value
- Excellent communication skills for effective cross-team collaboration
- Experience testing complex, multi-step user workflows in regulated or fintech sectors
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience in fintech, SaaS, or regulated industries
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or REST-assured
- Background in performance or load testing
- Knowledge of compliance-driven testing requirements
