As a Senior OT Network Support Engineer, you will be working for our client, a major financial institution, providing critical IT and OT network services across 55 countries. You’ll play a vital role in managing and supporting complex network environments, ensuring seamless communication and operational excellence on a global scale. Your main responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support for global HSBC IT and OT network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and DNS.
- Troubleshoot network issues to optimize performance and deliver swift break-fix solutions.
- Collaborate with incident management teams and OT specialists to resolve crises and incidents effectively.
- Work closely with diverse global teams and vendors on a "follow the Sun" support basis, ensuring 24/7 coverage.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce outages and prevent recurring failures.
- Develop comprehensive documentation and deliver knowledge transfers to junior engineers or support teams.
- Ensure adherence to global standards and best practices, maintaining high-quality support.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Over 8 years of experience supporting network technologies within large organizations.
- Strong expertise with Cisco Router/Switch, Cisco ACI, Juniper Router, and Checkpoint Firewall.
- Deep understanding of Data Network Topologies and protocols, DNS, and load balancing.
- Experience working with ITIL, Agile frameworks, and network management tools like Splunk, Sevone, NetScout, Wireshark.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate at all organizational levels.
- A team-oriented approach with capacity to mentor less experienced engineers.
- Willingness to learn new telecoms and OT technologies.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Valid industry certifications such as CCNP or CCIE.
- Programming skills in Python or experience with network automation.
- Cloud infrastructure support experience (GCP, Azure, AWS, Ali).

- Fluent/Communicative English proficiency.
