As a Senior Network Security Control Specialist, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services, dedicated to safeguarding digital assets and delivering resilient security solutions. Your main responsibilities:
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate network threats and risks, proposing robust solutions to improve security posture
- Support the analysis of network and cybersecurity data, including system logs, for decision-making and control verification
- Collaborate with cyber security teams and stakeholders to develop and enforce security policies and controls
- Maintain compliance with industry standards, legal regulations, and internal policies, updating knowledge continuously
- Drive improvements by proactively addressing issues, assessing changing risks, and implementing corrective actions
- Build strong relationships with cybersecurity colleagues, internal stakeholders, and external vendors, acting as a subject matter expert
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and integrate innovative cybersecurity solutions into operational routines
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security, cybersecurity, or related fields
- Extensive knowledge of network infrastructure hardening and security controls in large environments
- Hands-on experience securing DDI products, network encryption services, and network management solutions
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory compliance, and best practices globally
- Proven ability to work with integrated on-premises and cloud network environments, including third-party SaaS solutions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical issues for diverse audiences
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)
- Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or CISA
- Experience in product ownership or network security architecture roles
