As a Senior Network Security Consultant – Cybersecurity Specialization, you will be working for a leading international IT company within the Cybersecurity / Network Security domain. You will play a vital role in delivering expert consultancy and innovative solutions to strengthen and safeguard complex network infrastructures. Your main responsibilities:
- Provide expert advisory and project delivery on network security controls, designs, and architecture to ensure the robustness of security measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and identify vulnerabilities, develop mitigation strategies, and implement best-practice security solutions.
- Analyze network and security data, including logs and configurations, to support decision-making and verify control effectiveness.
- Support continuous improvement of network security posture by staying updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry standards.
- Lead efforts to identify security gaps, escalate risks, and develop remediation plans.
- Maintain compliance with operational risk, cybersecurity standards, and internal control policies.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to foster strong relationships and communicate security best practices effectively.
- Contribute to the development and sharing of knowledge within the cybersecurity community to promote excellence and innovation.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 5 years of experience in network security engineering or consultancy, preferably within regulated environments.
- Deep understanding of network design, firewall, IDS/IPS, web application firewalls, content filtering, DDoS mitigation, load balancing, network segmentation, and NAC technologies.
- Proven experience with security threat analysis and risk management.
- Strong communication skills, fluent in English, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency with office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- A customer-focused mindset with a drive for service excellence.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCNA, CCIE, etc.
- Scripting skills in Python, Perl, or alternative languages.
- Knowledge of cloud computing security concepts.
- Experience with security operations tools such as SIEMs and incident response processes.
Language Required for the role:
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
