Senior Murex Developer – Capital Markets Technologies

As a Senior Murex Developer working for our client, a prominent player in the Capital Markets industry, you will be instrumental in designing and executing high-impact solutions that drive market innovation. Your main responsibilities:

• Liaise with business stakeholders, Murex, IT development, and support teams to prioritize and gather technical and functional requirements

• Translate complex requirements into effective design solutions for Murex platforms

• Deliver high-quality enhancements and system developments within demanding timeframes

• Ensure architecture consistency and alignment of business processes across multiple sites

• Provide expert advice and support within the XFOS IT team

• Liaise with Murex (third-party vendor) for core bug fixes and system updates

• Support end-users with technical assistance and troubleshooting

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 6+ years of experience in the finance industry, with a focus on capital markets or treasury services

• Extensive experience with Murex v3.1 (preferably 3.1.56) and related modules

• Knowledge of Murex modules/areas such as MXML workflows, GOM, Market Data feeds, Rate Curve configuration, and Datamart reporting

• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, financial derivatives, and treasury products

• Proficiency in Java, GIT, Excel/VBA, and SQL (preferably Sybase)

• Ability to work effectively in hybrid environments, with up to 3 days remote work per week

• Fluent command of English, both written and spoken

• Eligibility to work in Europe

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with onshore and offshore development teams

• Understanding of front-office operations and functions across different business areas

Language required for the role:

• Fluent in English
