Senior IT Project Manager – Data Center Migration and Infrastructure Modernization

As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will be working for our client, a global leader in digital transformation within the financial services sector. You will play a vital role in a high-impact data center migration and infrastructure modernization program, driving complex workstreams and ensuring the delivery of innovative, secure, and scalable solutions. This project represents a critical step in enhancing the client’s infrastructure performance and security, offering a unique chance to contribute to transformative change at the heart of the financial industry.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead and manage project workstreams within a complex migration program

• Define and control project scope, goals, budget, and timelines

• Supervise and coordinate tasks across cross-functional project teams

• Plan and monitor resource allocation and team performance

• Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring continuous risk oversight

• Enforce quality control and maintain complete project documentation

• Ensure effective communication with stakeholders and team members

• Oversee collaboration with external suppliers and delivery partners

• Apply and evolve project management methodology and tools

• Report progress, critical issues, and decisions to program leadership

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 5–8+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably in financial services

• Proven experience with complex infrastructure or data migration projects

• Strong knowledge of SDLC and project lifecycle methodologies

• Hands-on experience with MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, or Clarity

• Excellent command of English in an international project environment

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders

• Strong time management and prioritization skills

• Capable of resolving issues and managing pressure in high-stakes environments

• Demonstrated success in managing project budgets, timelines, and deliverables

• Expertise in risk identification and mitigation strategies

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Certifications in Project Management (PMP, Prince2, etc.)

• Experience working within Agile frameworks

• Knowledge of data center or infrastructure technologies

• Polish — communicative level
