Kraków-based opportunity with a hybrid work model (2 days per week in the office).

As a Senior Fullstack Java & React Developer, you will be working for our client, a major player in global finance focused on building scalable, secure, and innovative digital services. You will join a cross-functional, Agile team dedicated to continuously delivering and supporting software solutions. The project involves designing and implementing backend and frontend features, maintaining production-ready systems, and proactively managing technical debt. You are contributing to an engineering culture that prioritizes collaboration, ownership, and iterative delivery while supporting business-critical applications in a fast-paced environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborating with team members and product owners to deliver business requirements
• Designing technical solutions aligned with architecture standards and constraints
• Dividing features into user stories and delivering them iteratively to production
• Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code across the full stack
• Supporting deployed products and resolving production issues
• Pairing with team members for knowledge sharing and quality assurance
• Identifying and addressing technical debt during development cycles
• Participating in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning activities
• Working closely with geographically distributed team members
• Ensuring the balance between new feature development and platform stability

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and JavaScript
• Strong hands-on experience with React
• Demonstrable experience with SQL
• Willingness to learn and work with multiple programming languages
• Working knowledge of Unix or Linux environments
• Solid understanding of databases from a developer’s perspective
• Practical experience with HTTP APIs, including RESTful services
• Experience in delivering software iteratively in Agile environments
• Ability to take full ownership of code, including deployment and support
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Great communication skills in English, both spoken and written
• Collaborative mindset and proactive approach to teamwork

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience working in geographically distributed teams
• Familiarity with both frontend and backend development
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of software design patterns and architectural principles
• Understanding of Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar
