Krakow-based opportunity with a hybrid model of work (2 days from the office, 3 days remotely per week)

As a Senior .NET Developer, you will be working for our client, an international leader in financial services, on innovative projects within their Product Control Analytics team. This team plays a crucial role in ensuring derivatives pricing meets market standards and regulatory requirements while developing and automating quantitative solutions. Your primary focus will be to develop and maintain a robust .NET infrastructure supporting quantitative and automation workstreams, contributing to a global framework used across 40 markets.

Your main responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining strategic .NET infrastructure in collaboration with IT teams
• Enhancing controlled orchestration frameworks for optimal performance
• Working closely with the Quant Analytics team to ensure a reliable production technology setup
• Designing and developing architecture leveraging Front Office quant libraries
• Supporting and ensuring compliance with governance policies for Citizen Developer frameworks
• Creating secure web applications following OWASP security principles
• Implementing robust software development patterns, including Domain Driven Design and Event Driven Architecture
• Managing Windows Server environments and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Developing APIs, RESTful services, and Microservices architecture
• Collaborating with teams using agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong experience with C# programming language
• Proficiency in .NET Framework and .NET Core
• Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
• Experience with Cloud Native concept and Kubernetes
• Experience with Windows Server Maintenance
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as SQL Server
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including AngularJS
• Knowledge of software architecture concepts and DevOps-related practices
• Experience with containerization technologies and cloud-native concepts
• Exposure to software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies
• Fluent English
• Understanding of API development, RESTful APIs, and Microservices architecture
• Proficiency in implementing software development patterns like Domain Driven Design
• Hands-on exposure to OWASP security principles
• Familiarity with Agile practices such as Scrum and Kanban
• Knowledge of software testing and automation tools
