Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud and Blockchain Technologies

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the financial services industry, dedicated to delivering cutting-edge cloud and blockchain solutions. You will help build resilient, scalable systems that drive operational excellence and foster technological innovation. Your main responsibilities:

• Provide support across the entire software development and operational lifecycle, leveraging your expertise to carry out development and DevOps activities as needed.
• Automate and optimise the continuous integration and delivery pipelines within a DevOps environment, fostering a culture of ongoing improvement.
• Support incident management by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to IT services, in line with leadership directives.
• Ensure system resilience, sustainability, and recovery objectives are consistently met for all delivered software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Shell scripting.
• Maintain and enhance monitoring, logging, and release management tools to ensure optimal system performance.
• Work flexibly with Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies, supporting new technologies and languages.
• Support live production environments post-deployment, ensuring stability and scalability.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or related fields.
• Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services, including Kubernetes Engine, PostgreSQL, networking, storage, and compute.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Sonar.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Shell scripting.
• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and release management solutions.
• Basic understanding of Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies, with a willingness to work with new tech.
• Practical experience with production environments and live service support.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Certifications related to Cloud, DevOps, Blockchain, or relevant technologies.
• Knowledge of scripting languages or additional cloud services.

• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
