Senior Data Warehouse and ETL Developer – Banking Sector

Warsaw-based opportunity with a hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month, up to 5 remote days per week).

As a Senior Data Warehouse and ETL Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the banking sector, on developing and optimizing data warehouse solutions that empower smarter financial insights. Your expertise will drive the design of robust ETL processes, enhance data architecture, and support business intelligence systems, ensuring seamless data reporting and analysis for complex financial environments. Your main responsibilities:

• Design and implement ETL processes using Informatica Power Center to streamline data flows.
• Develop and maintain data warehouses and reporting data marts to support strategic decision-making.
• Participate in the implementation and integration of Informatica tools within banking systems.
• Create and maintain Oracle databases and analytical environments to ensure high performance and scalability.
• Define and document technical specifications and administrative procedures.
• Test, validate, and support software solutions progressing toward production environments.
• Prepare installation packages and assist in software release processes.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in data warehousing, ETL development, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of Informatica Power Center for ETL process design.
• Experience with Oracle databases (Oracle 9i/10g) and SQL/PL-SQL.
• Proven background in banking or financial reporting environments.
• Experience automating development work with AI tools (e.g., Codex, Claude) is a plus.
• Practical knowledge of Snowflake, Python, and large-scale data warehouse design.
• Ability to read and produce technical documentation in English.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Practical experience with Big Data, Spark, and Python.
• Familiarity with BI concepts and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Knowledge of SQL Developer, SVN, GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence.

Language Required for the role:

• Communicative proficiency in English.
• Fluent Polish language skills.
