Senior Data & Reporting Developer

As a Senior Data & Reporting Developer, you will be working for our client in the banking industry within the Data & Reporting Developer’s Team at the Data & Architecture Office. You’ll help deliver high-quality data insights across the bank—building data repositories and delivering data assets aligned to internal standards—while strengthening end-to-end reporting and analytics in Google Cloud and/or Microsoft SQL Server environments.

Your main responsibilities:

• Deliver assigned projects end-to-end, developing performance KPIs, data models, and metrics based on multiple data sources

• Perform data discovery, cleaning, transformation, aggregation, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency

• Implement data matching and linking across datasets to support reliable reporting and analysis

• Enable secure data movement from sources to targets, adhering to data standards and governance

• Develop complex reporting solutions in Google Cloud and/or Microsoft SQL Server, using Python, T-SQL, and related technologies

• Work with stakeholders and business partners to understand requirements, process logic, and reporting needs

• Identify risks and process blockers early, and drive resolutions while supporting continuous improvement

• Document delivery and processes by creating road-maps, process descriptions, and other relevant documentation

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 3 years of experience in a data-related role (SQL development, data analysis, data engineering, data architecture, or data management)

• Advanced SQL programming skills and strong knowledge of relational database systems

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with business English proficiency (fluent)

• A proactive, positive mindset with a goal-oriented approach

• Experience translating business needs into data models, transformations, and reporting outputs

• Ability to drive assigned workstreams, facilitate discussions, and monitor progress

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform products, especially BigQuery and Data Studio

• Understanding of ETL and data warehousing principles

• Experience preparing business reporting and front-end dashboards

• Knowledge of Python

Language Required for the role :

• Fluent English (business English proficiency is required)
