As a Senior Data Governance PMO, you will be working for our client, a respected leader in the financial services industry, dedicated to elevating data management standards and embedding a trusted, compliant data culture across global operations. You will contribute to impactful data controls implementation, ensuring governance, quality, and regulatory adherence at the highest levels, while supporting career growth in a forward-thinking environment.
Your main responsibilities:
- Support the Programme Manager and collaborate with Project Managers to deliver initiatives within scope, time, and budget, ensuring seamless coordination and governance.
- Monitor RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), escalate issues proactively, and drive resolution.
- Manage delivery governance frameworks in line with our client’s Change Framework, including reporting on milestones, OKRs, and progress.
- Oversee and maintain project documentation, process standards, and information sources, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Act as an independent facilitator for post-implementation review and quality assurance activities.
- Advocate best practices in agile methodologies, providing guidance on tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across functions and external partners.
- Share insights, lessons learned, and templates, contributing to the broader DAO Centre of Excellence.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a PMO role, with a solid background in Data Management and Data Governance.
- Proven success in managing global, cross-functional projects and complex portfolios.
- Strong understanding of Data Governance principles and project management methodologies.
- Experience working in data-related change initiatives within financial services.
- Working knowledge of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and agile tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Familiarity with our client’s standards, processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and build relationships across a global matrix organization.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Certification or experience in data management or data governance frameworks.
- Previous involvement in financial services projects.
- Additional languages relevant to the role.

- Fluent English, both spoken and written.
